The Belarusian national broadcaster, BTRC, selected the 10 participants for the Junior Eurovision National Final, the date of which is not yet known, though it will take place on early September. From the 43 applicants in this year's national selection the jury decided the ten names which will proceed in the final. On June 14th the ten qualifiers to the final will meet the jury members and will discuss all together. the participants are:


01. Ermakov Kirill, Minsk
02. Zhigalkovich Alexey, Minsk
03. Zemlyanik Anton, Mozyr
04. Kalofati Polina, Minsk
05. Azaryonok Yuliya, Minsk
06. Gromova Diana, Gomel

09. Veras Polina, Minsk

Good that someone put it up already. Smile I captured the whole show but the quality was horrible so I didn't wanat to upload it...

The first two, Diana Gromova and Roman Voloznev, were the best in my opinion, but I guess the best don't always win Smile

The deadline for the submission of applications to Junior Eurovision has been extended to March 15 following repeated requests by art studio directors.
This year the Song for Eurovision consists of three stages: selection round, semifinal and final.
The deadline for sending applications has been moved to March 15, 2008, and started in January.
The results of the selection round will be summarized. The jury will review applications and select 20 songs that will qualify for the semifinal in May 2008. 10 finalists will be selected during the semifinal.
The final of the national contest will take place in September 2008 as a gala concert. The winner will be determined through viewers' telephone voting and jury voting.
The age range for the national contest is 10 to 15 years on the day of the international contest.
Eligible songs should have lyrics in Russian and Belarusian, and music that has been never commercially sold or performed in public.
Find out more about the Song for Eurovision contest at the BTRC official site www.tvr.by and in Sovetskaya Belorussiya newspaper issue #3 dated 09/01/2008.
