I decided to make a thread for my graphics

I made a lot of animated avatars lately, they are posted on www.jesf.nl too

i made those with adobe imageready, you get that program with adobe photoshop

you can also use animation shop, which you can get with paint shop pro

i personally like animation shop better, but i only have paint shop on my other computer

there is a free program too, i had that a couple of years ago, but i forgot the name Sad

here it is, only in dutch at the moment

ok hier komt de tutorial, als je ergens vragen bij hebt, post je maar Smile

1. Je begint met deze foto

2. Crop de foto, zie dat het een beetje op een vierkant lijkt

3. Ga naar 'image', 'image size' verander de dimenties naar 100 px op 100 px, klik ok

4. crtl+alt (selecteert de hele foto)

5. Ga naar edit , stroke, 2 px, een kleurtje dat je wilt, inside, ok

je hebt zoiets als dit

nu komt het animatiegedeelte

6. crt+ c, kopieer de foto

7. ga naar file; jump to, image ready

8. imageready opent

9. file, new document, 100 px op 100 px, witte achtergrond, ok

10. kopieer/plak je foto in het nieuwe document

11. crtl + e, om de layers samen te voegen (merge)

12. verander de tijd, van 0 seconden naar 0,5 seconden

13. duplicate het frame

14. nu de tekst, kies een font (liefst een pixel font, dat ziet er mooi uit als het 8 groot is en schrijf bijvoorbeeld maria isabel

15. rechtermuisklik op de text layer, kies 'layer style', stroke, en kies een kleur en verander in 1 px

16. duplicate de text layer en selecteer de tekst en verander de kleuren zodat ze omgedraaid zijn

17 nu moet je beslissen welke layer bij welk frame te zien is

dat doe je door het frame te selecteren en dan de oogjes te kruisen of niet

klik bij elk frame een andere text layer

18. dan kan je op het play knopje drukken en je animatie zien

19. om op te slaan: save optimized as, sla het op als een .gif

je animatie is klaar

als je wilt geef ik nog een paar tips, als dit lukt

je moet eerst ctrl+a zodat de hele foto is geselcteerd, bij stroke moet het ook op 'inside' staan, als je meerdere layers hebt moeten die gemerged zijn Smile

Ff in het nederlands want k kan niej egt so goed engels maar jah hihi nou zo een lesje hoe je zo een mooie maria isabel banner van jouw maakt! en hoe je zo een avatar van dese maakt:

hmmmm dat van die avatar staat er, das gewoon een optie voor een geanimeerde avatar, de tutorial voor zon avatars staat er al, je moet gewoon wat uitproberen, doe ik ook altijd Wink

voor banners, das echt mega moeilijk omdat uit te leggen, is bij elke banner weer anders...ik kan wel een paar tips geven

wil je weten hoe ik blend? daar kan ik wel een tutorial voor maken, maar pas binnen een week of zo want nu heb ik examens

isabel, dat is hetzelfde principe

je maakt 3 plaatjes, elk even groot, eentje met enkel antonio, eentje met alleen malin enzovoort

dan zet je die plaatjes achter elkaar in een animatie, met imageready of animation shop, je verandert best de tijd tussen de animatie (zoals in de tutorial)

here is the english version! (sorry it took so long)

if you have questions, don't be afraid to ask Smile

1. You start with this picture

2. Crop the picture, make it so it's almost a square

3. Go to 'image', 'image size' change the dimensions to 100 px on 100 px, click ok

4. crtl+alt (selectes the entire picture)

5. Go to edit , stroke, 2 px, any color you like, inside, ok

you should have something looking like this:

now we are going to start the animation

6. crt+ c, copy the pic

7. go to file; jump to, image ready

8. imageready opens

9. file, new document, 100 px on 100 px, white background, ok

10. copy/paste the picture in the new document

11. crtl + e, to merge the layers

12. change the time from 0 second til 0,5 seconds

13. duplicate the frame

14. now the text, chose a font (i would recommend pixel fonts) and write for example 'maria isabel'

15. right mouse click on the text layer, chose 'layer style', stroke, chose a color and change in 1 px

16. duplicate the text layer and select the text, reverse the colors

17 now you have to decide which layer can be seen by which frame

you do this by selecting a frame and then cross or uncross the little eye symbol

chose for each frame a different text layer

18. you can now click on play and see your animation

19. to save: save optimized as, and save it as a .gif

your animation is ready
