I actually like her song.. She wasn't good at the JESC, I agree, but I on the cd she sounds ok.. She's not my favourite,that's Antonio José, but Joni is in my top 10 =D

I like the song on the cd as well, but it's not in my top 10, although I find it better than malta or denmark (shout at me nicolai-fans!!!! hahaha LOL)

At national Final I thought....no way.....NO WAY! and I didn't vote for her,but she won and after listening to the song a few times I grew to like her a bit.

The problem was - you have to get used to her voice and song I think.It's not a song you cna like on impulse.Which is a problem sas a lot of votes hear the songs for the first and only time on stage. Sad

At the grand final she was not good at all,I was nearly in tears. it wasn't her song or anything,but her voice sounded strained.I know she was ill at the time,and you could hear suffering..well you could if you could hear her national final performace...10 times better now I looks back at it.

She was very very nervous during the final, she can't sing, it was like screaming and whispering...
She deserved to be last yeah, with 0 points... Very Happy

I think the worst thing of all is that the UK propably won't participate this year because of its bad result in 2005.

It seemed like she was very nervous in Hasselt. And the Norwegian commentator said she had a sore throat.
It souned better during the national final though.

There was a pop song called "Groovy Chick" that was good Smile

and OMG I can't remember his name...a young blond boy (not the older one) on acoustic guitar - he was fantastic - I voted him Laughing

yeh i like kseniya. i didn't like the song that much when i first heard it, but rewatching the show it is really a nice happy song and the act was cute too

no one comes even close to maria isabel though, she ist just so amazing Smile

Kseniya`s song isn`t so bad as I first thought, but I have something against Belarus and that she won, I don`t get over it. I was crying when they ran to the stage for singing once more and I cried until I was out of the Arena. I had never in my mind thought that she would win I get a shock. And I guess I never will start like her.

That is one of the few things i didn't like about jesc 2005, there was more political voting i think.

well i think you can hardly avoid people with the same language voting for eachother, it's normal you like a song you understand...isn't political, just a matter of the same lanuage, same culture

i think belarus won in a fair way, people should accept that she won, maybe some others were better, but she won and i think it's not fair to say she didn't deserve it or something or that the voting wasn't correct or something, it was...

and i think you act this way, saying belarus won with political voting just because she wasn't your favorite, she won and in a fair way it's time to accept it

i also think that people have a hard time accepting kseniya won because they expected a second maria isabel to win, maria isabel lay the standard very high, but there wasn't one in the show that came close to that

of course people rather had loved their favorites to win, but it didn't happen, i'm just a bit sick that people say she didn't win in a fair way, she did

if people say the best voice should win: i think noni should have won in 2004 (just based on the voice), but it is a show andthe song and the appearance counts to, i'm sure they wanted to make kseniya cute to get some points that way, nothing wrong with that

malin would maybe not have gotten so many points either if she didn't wore a cute pink dress and pigtails (although i think it's hard to make malin not cute Wink

)

it's just the way it is, i don't see how you can change it

I agree that Kseniya won in a fair way with the voting. Nut in my oponition her song wasn`t the best. I don`t think the voice has much to say. Of course it is nice if they have a good voice too but the song and the act has a lot to say too. I understand why people voted Kseniya she were cute she had a good voice (it`s awful but strong) she had a funny performence she performed last and the "Oh-ah-oh" were easy to remember. But it was better entrys so in that way she didn`t deserve to win. And I don`t think language has much to say. Malta end last and she sang in English but who understand Belarusian?

well actually almost all belarussian speak russian, belarussian is a language but almost no one can speak it in belarus (weird i know), so russia and latvia (lots of russians) understand the song Smile
