I thought lets make a topic about Lithuania..
I saw on escsweden.com that the final of Lithuania is tomorrow is that true?

I've said it before but the only problem I have is that the kids mostly don't sing their own songs Confused

The final is on 10:30 AM! I don't think you can watch it live but LRT allows download on their site Very Happy

This day Lithuania decided for the Junior Songcontest 2007.
Broadcaster LRT announced that the winner from
Mažųjų žvaigždžių ringas 2 will represent Lithuania in Rotterdam.
If this is really, is still unknown yet.
The winner was Laura Zigmantaitė.
In the final she has the same points as number 2
Monika Linkyte, but a jury decided in the superfinal
for the song from Laura. The songtitle is unknown yet.

I don't think it is. I am sure that she is far older than 15.
I think http://ip.serveriai.lt/laura/index.htm is her and I saw on another page from last year that she is 16 already Confused

I think... there has to be another season with tightened up rules so they can make a proper JESC selection.

I'm happy that Lithuania takes part in JESC. I think it's a nice country, I know many Lithuanian people where I live and they are amazing persons! ^^

Egle (she was in the semi final of last season) = actually really nice song except for the weird costumes 7-7-10
Dovalde = boring 6-6-6
Trio Gig = pleasant but not going to do well at JESC 10-10-8
Milda = chorus is nice and the gymnastic is freaking me out 8-8-7
Monika = I like it 12-12-12

OK Carolyn I was wrong the final is on October 21 at 12:50 since it is a special long episode with 12 finalists (it will go until 15:00). The final will have 50% televoting and 50% jury voting.

Yeah, but compared to some countries like, lisa, amy and shelley were very good for the crowd, lots of talent, bon-bon had cool song, not so well performed though, macedonia, all good but got a bit repititive, armenia's national motif, lots were better?
