what is weird to me too is that she has a manager and all, wasn't someone in cyprus disqualified because she was touring with anna visi and that she was therefore a professional; sophie looks to be a professional too, she recorded songs, has a manager... | ||

The rules state that she has to have been professionally represented to be disqualified...yes she does have a manager, but this isn't going to start until October, her manager is her father by the way
There is no way she will be disqualified as she has not been professionally presented, it's quite annoying that people always try to say that people should be disqualified when there is no reason, people try to make up reasons. Anyway, I think her song is pretty good, it's catchy and her performance was pretty memorable, which will be important in Bucharest. I think some work will have to be done in the coming months to make it a bit more professional. I think the young girl has potential!! |

what annoys me the most about sophie is maybe not the manager, but she has done a lot, she recorded a cd already, toured, and participated in the jesc qualification 3 times, i think they should change the rule and make that kids can only participate in the national final once.... | ||

EBU never enforces the rules though, its the broadcasters who have to do that. Some are very strict (Cyprus...) and some are not

I AGREE !! I haven't liked any Maltese entry in JESC. I am glad they enforced a rule to stop having so many performers on stage like they did every year with Malta. Sarah, Young Talent Team and Thea all had the most performers on stage, though I doubt this rule will save this song from the bottom 5 |

ok sorry, i just understood it as: your english isn't that good either. i'm a bit sensitive about this, because i study to be a translator english-german so it's pretty important to me. by the way, me level of english is fine i think, i never failed an english test till now, so i guess i'm good in it sorry if i misunderstood, just a sensitive issue (certainly today, but that's a long story...)
