Netherlands: AVRO sets junior song submission deadline on May 12

Dutch broadcaster AVRO has opened the submission period for Dutch junior songs. Until the 12th of May kids between 8 and 15 can submit their song, in Dutch language and no longer than 2 minutes and 45 seconds. More information about the venue, host(s) and the dates of selection aren't known yet. Last year AVRO received over 2000 songs. Tess won the national final with her song Stupid and ended 7th in the international contest in Hasselt. Her song was in the charts for 18 weeks.
