Do you think it could be that girl on the left???
Caroline
Hehe I can`t help much. Of course it could be her...I don`t know. I think it is Tue too very likely they picked someone from mgp and who lese could it be? I know I have seen the Norwegian girl somewhere I just can`t remember...

British one? (Sasha Stevens)
Caroline
Yes that`s her! Was she one of the finalists?
cool kid
Yep
Some of these will be impossible to find
I found this: http://www.christabelleborg.info/site.htm
She was in all 4 of the finals in Malta every year so far, but I think she is too young for the spokesperson then...
JulyY*
mayby the spokeperson of norway was the left one,,I only know the groupname: Spiri2
and of Latvia Edgar:
Caroline
I can`t see that site.
No it is not the gril of Spiri2.
Who is Edgar?
Yes it is REALLY difficult to find them they have grown a lot since then and when there are no names it is so difficult to search..
JulyY*
Edgar was in the national final of Latvia 2003.. and yes it's really difficult to find
cool kid
Edgar looks a bit too young, I think.
Here are photos of the Croatian finalists (from 2003):
http://www.junior.eurovision.2003.8m.com/photo3.html
None really look similar though
Swedish finalists 2003: http://svt.se/svt/jsp/Crosslink.jsp?d=2020&a=123537
Caroline
I can`t see all those from Croatia.
I found the Swedish too didn`t post it because it could not be one of them.
cool kid
Arrrgh You didn't recognize the Norwegian one yet?
This is the picture of the Maltese girl I linked to before...
I think she's too young (she was born in 1992), but...
Edit: Crazy idea but maybe that Belgian girl could be from jelly-pie
Caroline
No I can ask my sisters too if they can.
No she must be too young.
I watched videos of the belgian finalists a couple of days ago, I could not see any one who looked like her.
Isabella
no i can say that the belgian pointgiver was definetely not in 'eurosong for kids 2003', she wasn't in the 2005 and 2006 national finals either
Isabella
Could the norwegian girl be Alexandra Sissener?
Caroline
Yes Isabella! Of course it is her
cool kid
Well done
I don't know who else could be the Maltese one since their hair is all too brown
Kylie?
Caroline
No it can`t be her.
cool kid
That girl in the back?
Caroline
Isn`t her hair too short?
cool kid
whoops I didn't notice
This girl came second but I think shes too old and her hair is too brown

Sorry I'm very busy at the moment...
Caroline
I think it could look a bit like her.
cool kid
well when I put them next to each other....
it's definitely a better match than any of the others
update:an article about her from my files (from 2004)

Junior Eurovision, Castelain
Ylenia Caruana
Ylenia Caruana, 15, of Victoria, Gozo, is participating in the Malta Selection Junior Eurovision for the second time with the song Colour Dreaming.
Composed and written by Ms Caruana herself, Colour Dreaming will be performed with the participation of her dancers, Claire Dimech, Jennifer Busuttil, Katya Bezzina, Nathalie Sciortino and Philippa Agius.
The festival will be held on Friday at Sir Temi Zammit Hall, of the University of Malta.
Ms Caruana, who placed second in last year's festival with the song In Love Unite, co-presents Zmeraldi, the award-winning weekly programme which is in its third year, broadcast on TVM and produced by CVC.
Having started ballet under the late Geni Delicata Lynam, Caruana will be taking her pre-intermediate and grade eight exam next spring under the tuition of Caroline Busutill and Simone Grech. Felix Busutill and Daron Galea of Yada are her jazz dancing teachers and Cecilia Vella has been her piano teacher since she was seven.
As a member of the Laudate Pueri Choir, she also takes part in operas and concerts organised in the local theatres. She has participated in various productions and workshops, organised by Masquerade. |
i'm gonna say its her because this picture fixes the problem of her hair the wrong colour

I looked through all the polish people from 2003 but I couldn't find anyone similar looking
Maybe Wiki will help us if we're nice to her

you don't recognize the pointgiver?
Here's a summary of where we are at the moment:
Greece/FYR Macedonia/Netherlands/Norway/UK - sure
Romania/Denmark - pretty sure
Belgium - not a finalist says Isabella
Cyprus/Belarus - they didn't have a final so no hope there
Latvia - doesn't look like he was a finalist
Spain - obviously not a finalist
Sweden - not a finalist of 2003 (2002 maybe????)
I have best hopes for these three:
Malta - i think i have this one
Croatia - will look again
Poland - don't really know
Wikulinka-POLAND:D
Ahh thank you very much!!!
and I'm sorry but I don;t but I'll try to find, maybe I'll find something on some Polish sites
cool kid

I'm convinced too
Caroline
The Swedish one was not in mgp nordic 2002 and I can`t find the national finalists.
cool kid
The national finalists of...
I think we've gotten as many as we are ever going to with this.
Caroline
Yes maybe, but we have found many
cool kid
Yeah we did well I think we knew two and we found seven so that's pretty good
cool kid
Did I ever suggest this for the Swedish pointgiver?
She was 4th and it's not too far off...
Caroline
She doesn`t look like her at all! She is too young, her hair is too brown and too long. Hehe...
cool kid
OK I had an idea:
Queenie (Spokesperson 2004) was announcing some of the points in Lilla Melodifestivalen 2004
Halahen (Spokesperson 2005) was announcing some of the points in Lilla Melodifestivalen 2005
so this girl could have been announcing some of the points of Lilla Melodifestivalen 2003 I haven't seen that though..
Caroline
Yes I know Queenie did it, not that other girl.
But yes it is likely.
cool kid
Here it is (for Halahen):

So I think it is likely the same for 2003
cool kid
Look what I found ...
