9 year old twin sisters Tolmachevy from Kursk - Masha and Nastya will represent Russia at Junior Eurovision song contest in Romania with song "Vesna (Vesenniy Jazz)" (Spring Jazz). From 6 years old girls are studying in the pop music studio "Sverchok". At home girls started to sing being 4 years old. Recently sisters won contest "Sozvezdie molodyh". - When their mother brought her daughters to the studio for the first time I was rejecting them, told tutor Antonina Pervilieva. I already had castings, and they were too young, they even weren't at the school that time. But when I heard their singing, I thought: they are real future stars, and accepted them without any doubts. For Eurovision sisters wrote song "Spring" about themselves - twin sisters, and their favourite time of the year. Music tastes of sisters significantly differ. Masha likes Larisa Dolina and Alla Pugachova, whil Nastya likes Whitney Houston and Sarah Connor. During adult Eurovision both sisters were supporting Dima Bilan. For mother of girls and their tutor the invitation to the semifinal was already considered a success. Nobody predicted that they can win the final among such a strong competitors. |

For 9 years old kids, the twin girls do have pretty good voice, and sure they're qualified to stand for their country .
But i think in Russia there're still quite a few participants with very nice voice; although i haven't watched them all. I can't choose the best song among them that I've heard, i guess i like Romanian's music more.... |

On Monday is a show dedicated to the Tolmachevy Twins. I would so love to see it. I will pay for a copy of the show if anyone can record it for me!!! The show is called "Феноменальные двойняшки.
