i guess the file is a psd file, or another format, you should change that with photoshop or so, is it an animated avatar?

yeah, i guess, just go "save as" and select ".gif" should fix it Confused

But the URL ends with a gif. it is animated. You can see it in the topic for Suki`s creations.
